I searched for recipe blogs.
Technorati: One blog:
Serious Eats: A Food Blog and Community
The first thing that grabbed my eyes are the colorful pictures of food! I like having the image of how my food should look when following a recipe. There is a lot to look at on the homepage, but it does not appear to be cluttered. Its focus is not centered around recipes, rather a combination for food lovers. Under the Hamburgers tab, there is a section called reality check where the writer review fast-food burgers. There are drink and sweets recipes. A search box is available. The site is up-to-date, and the font size and color are readable. Staring at the pie on the sweets page is making me hungry! I love the entry: What happens when you order every mix-in at ColdStone Creamery?
BlogPulse: many, many blogs
Mix' Madness
The background is not distracting, and the words are readable. This blog is kept up-to-date as the latest entry is from today; the blogger has only three posts. A search box is available. Followers can subscribe to this blog and receive e-mails about new postings. It doesn't say where the blogger lives, but says "125gr. self-raising flour (I dunno if you have this in other countries, but it’s basically a pre-made mix of flour, salt and baking powder. Super convenient)." Also, I don't know how much 125gr. of flour is equaled to. The oven temperature is in Celsius; I don't have the time nor math skills to convert. I'll just look at the pictures of baked goods!
