My local library, Sachem, does have a Facebook, Twitter, and Four Square accounts. The icons to those sites are displayed on the library's website. I added Sachem Library as one of my Facebook friends; I think it'll be easier to keep up-to-date.
I joined Facebook my first semester at college, after I was persuaded my friends, in 2005. I like the ease keeping in the loop with friends. I found and am friends with my sixth grade teacher; it's a great way to remain in contact. I dislike the newest change made on the site. The chatting feature now randomly chooses from my friends list and shows who is on, off, or idle. Frankly, I don't care who isn't online!
