BookLoversWiki:
The title caught me eye, so I had to had to click! I like the 5 star reviews section because I am always searching for a great read. I found a review for a Jodi Picoult novel, "Harvesting the Heart," that I had not heard of; however, the description was okay. If I never read any of Picoult's novels, than I probably would not pick-up this book based on the review.
I like that this blog is easy to navigate, and separates different book forms (audio, fantasy, poetry). Another neat feature is that the editors invite readers to submit their book reviews.
LitWiki (Ohio University):
This blog is clean and straightforward with links to information about newspapers, theater, film and literature. Since I am not a student at that University, I cannot access the articles. Ask-a-librarian is featured.
BizWiki:
Operated by an academic librarian, Chad Boeninger, who seeks to promote tools and resources for business students. Chad introduces his blog with a video of himself; I like knowing that he is a real person. He provides students with several ways to contact him if he is not available online. There are a few business options to select for more information, such as marketing and economic.
I think it is important not to clutter the page with too much information because it can be overwhelming. Videos and input from viewers are applications that I think would work well for libraries.
